Annual Winter Festival

CELEBRATING 43 YEARS

North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST is the largest winter mountain festival on the West Coast. Our annual event celebrates the best of North Lake Tahoe by showcasing the relationships between the local community and the people who visit. Our mission is to support local nonprofits, public programs, student organizations, and scholarships, through the production of our unique ten-day festival.

The Tahoe SNOWFEST Festival hosts more than 40 events each year. From ski town nightlife to outdoor family-friendly events, you’ll be sure to find something for everyone.

Generations have come to ski, boat, swim, bicycle, and such. This spring, come out for Snowfest and see for yourself why everybody who comes here, comes back.

Serving as a haven for winter adventure seekers for more than 50 years, North Lake Tahoe’s outdoor activities, mountain vistas, and apres ski scene make it an unforgettable California destination. The area is home to a variety of world-class ski resorts including Palisades, Alpine Meadows, Sugarbowl, Northstar, Homewood, Mt. Rose, Tahoe Donner, and Boreal.
